About Me
Howdy,
Hi, I’m Astrid — writer, philosopher, single mom, and full-time believer in second chances (and third, and fourth, if needed). I created What Could Be – Reveille as a love letter to the human spirit — a place where dreams meet action, and kindness isn’t just poetic… it’s practical.
By day, I work in higher education, helping students find their footing through tutoring, job readiness, and purpose-driven planning. By heart, I’m a builder of bridges — between people, ideas, and the life you have and the one you hope to have.
Reveille isn’t just a brand — it’s a call to rise. To choose gentleness over cynicism. To see each other fully. To try again, even when you’re tired. Especially when you’re tired.
Whether it’s through journals that spark reflection, workshops that build confidence, or storytelling that softens divisions, I want every piece of content here to whisper: "You matter. You belong. You’re not alone."
This is a space for dreamers, doers, doubters, and dancers in the dark. You’re welcome here.
Much love, Astrid. <3
Special Note for the Audience
This space is for anyone who’s ever felt like they didn’t quite fit—those who grew up in houses that never felt like home, stood on the edges of groups they tried to belong to, or had dreams so big they were met with doubt instead of encouragement. Here, your voice matters. Your dreams are celebrated. And the unique, beautifully complex person you are is welcomed with open arms. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone anymore. Together, we can create a space where connection, understanding, and purpose come to life.
Welcome to a community built just for you. Welcome home.
